The Union Leader Corporation has long been one of the most respected and well known newspapers in New England and throughout the United States. Since its days under the tutelage of William Loeb, the Union Leader has been aggressive in its pursuit of news, yet, conservative in its approach to innovation and technology, relying on proven products to maintain their industry leadership role rather than “flash-in-the-pan” or “fad” products that come along. Union Leader management gave very high marks to Vision Data for its “thirty plus years of industry leadership, cutting-edge software development and the robustness and strong accounting functionality of their products.”
Vision Data will be converting the actual advertising Account Master information, as well as the account history and all contract information from their old Geac systems and will be providing a week’s administrative training at Vision Data as well as three week’s user training at Manchester, NH, during the next two months, allowing them to go live in the system at the beginning of 2006.
